AuthorHouse, houses big opportunities!

Welcome, hope you enjoy your stay!

It was started as “1stBooks,” in 1995, by an aspiring author who had received more than 100 rejection letters from various publishers. However, that man did not give up. He later changed the name to AuthorHouse, where Self Publishing was a must. Now, their self publishing services have grown to more than 40,000 published titles in January 2007. While, AuthorHouse does charge a fee for their services, such as editing, marketing, and distributing, the author keeps all original rights to their work. Some people may ask how Author House prints their books, if they do not own any printing presses. This is when third party printers come in. The overall experience is great, if you are an author that is trying to get something published, without worrying about losing rights to your work.
