I know in one of my other HP posts, i kind of praised the HP Pavillion Series, but this post will overturn that post. After a year of working with this computer, i must say i am disappointed.

The laptop works fine for the first few months simply because it is new. Then you start noticing the small things that eventually make you very angry.

The first thing you notice is the heat output. This laptop will get VERY hot after a few months of using it. This is probably due to using it for more than 6hrs straight, but who doesn’t do that?

The next thing is the display driver starts failing and crashes often, causing you to reboot your computer often. This most often happens if you are using a video card that is not HP’s but it can and has happened with the intel media accelerator graphics card that comes with the basic model of the Pavillion series.

I am overall very disappointed with the way this computer is behaving. I am not the only person with these problems as my friend also has these same problems and has the SAME laptop. >.<
